If you:

• Want your PC looks different from others'.
• Want to give your guests and friends a chance to browse the Internet and play some Games without the need of Login.
• Want to be still able to use some limited applications while your trial version of Windows expires very soon (no warranty :D).

Then you can download and install the Login Desktop "Gadget", with it you can see useful information BEFORE you login or when your PC is locked, it stays on your logon desktop. You can customize the Gadget the way you like. Screenshots: Vista, XP

Note: For some reason if the Service does not get installed after setup, you can run C:\FancyLogonDesktop\LogonGadget.exe -i in an elevated cmd window to install it.
